OISD-STD-194

Storage and Handling of Liquefied Petroleum Gas

The Indian standard for LPG storage, covering mounded and above-ground bullets, spheres and their associated civil works. It carries the requirements for mound construction and its moisture barrier, sphere foundation and leg fire protection, impounding, and the separation distances specific to LPG. It is the LPG counterpart to the LNG provisions in NFPA 59A, and is frequently the applicable document on Indian terminal and bottling plant projects.

This is an explanation, not the standard. AlpineTutor is not affiliated with OISD and reproduces no part of the document. Always work to the current edition of the standard itself and to your project specification.
