Refunds and cancellations

What we sell is digital and is delivered immediately on payment. This page says plainly what that means, so that nothing about it is a surprise after you have paid.

What you are buying

Access to a course pathway or a question pack for three months from the date of purchase. Within that period there is no limit on use: read the modules as often as you like, retake an assessment, work a question pack end to end and start again. Access is granted as soon as the payment is confirmed, usually within a minute.

No refunds

Because access is granted immediately and in full, purchases are not refundable and cannot be cancelled once payment is confirmed. There is no trial period and no partial refund for unused time.

Please decide before paying rather than after. Everything below is there to help you do that.

How to know what you are getting first

We would rather you were sure than sorry, so nothing is hidden behind the payment:

  • Every tutorial on this site is free to read, in full, without an account. The paid courses are guided pathways through that same material with exercises and a marked assessment — so you can read the teaching content before deciding whether the guided version is worth it to you.
  • Each question pack page states exactly how many distinct questions it holds, what sections they cover, and which edition of which code they were written to.
  • The certification page sets out what a certificate is and, just as plainly, what it is not.
  • If anything is unclear, ask before you buy:support@alpinetutor.com.

If you do not receive what you paid for

This is not a refund question and is not covered by the policy above. If a payment succeeds and access does not appear, or you cannot reach what you bought and we cannot put it right, you are refunded in full — however long it has been. Write to support@alpinetutor.com from the address you paid with.

Duplicate payments

If you are charged twice for the same product by mistake, the duplicate is refunded in full. Buying the same product again deliberately is different: that adds to the time you have left rather than replacing it, and is not a duplicate.

Free material is unaffected

Every tutorial, glossary entry and standards page on this site is free and always will be. Nothing here restricts access to any of it.

About AlpineTutor and our founder

Content here is for learning. Always design and build to the current edition of the governing code and to your project specification — not to a tutorial.
